We really enjoy inspecting and educating buyers and sellers about homes. We always encourage participation during our inspections. The inspection process will take approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours. As you follow us through the inspection we provide you inside information regarding any positive, negative, or neutral aspects of the property. From having completed over 1700 property inspections, Bob Gibson has become one of the more highly regarded property inspectors in the Coachella Valley.  Being a licensed General Contractor for over 35 years, gives Bob a special insight into home construction other inspectors may not possess. Each property is thoroughly inspected including all structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Electrical j-boxes are opened to insure that circuit breaking over current devices are compatible with wire sizes and water pressures are measured at service areas. We provide quality color photo's with every inspection so that you, the client, will understand every item by the time we are finished.

My Qualifications

Bob has been the qualifying individual for general contractor licenses in California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho and has been a licensed General Contractor since 1975.  He is recently retired from contracting and is focusing his acquired skills on the home inspection industry.  In addition to having been the quality inspector on his own building projects, he is also a qualified OSHA safety officer and carries current certifications for first aid and CPR.  Bob has a commitment to continuing education in the building trades and carries specialty credentials for the inspection of tile roofs, swimming pools, and mobile home/manufactured housing applications.

Bob is the past president, and incoming vice president of the local Palm Springs chapter of California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA). Bob is also a member of good standing in the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the International Code Council (ICC).  Each of these organizations has differing requirements for continuing education as a condition of continued membership.
